McLaren | Bianca Bustamante

Beyond the track, Google and McLaren wanted to tell a story about culture, identity, and representation.

For Bianca Bustamante, McLaren’s rising F1 Academy driver and the first Filipina on the team, Robot commissioned Chicago-based Filipino artist Louis De Guzman to design a one-of-a-kind racing helmet. A moving canvas merging art, heritage, and speed. To complete the story, we traveled to the Philippines to personally deliver the helmet, reconnecting Bianca’s global moment with the place that started it all.

Then, in Lars Ulrich’s hometown of Copenhagen, we hosted a livestreamed Battle Stage Royale where top streamers went riff-for-riff in a first-of-its-kind Fortnite Festival showdown - premiering the game to the world for the first time across 20 creator channels.
It was time Druski put his money where his mouth was, declaring his eligibility for the draft with a hoops tape and content series that truly put him through the ringer as a recruit.
And to top it all off, Druski shared his knowledge of the game, with a helping hand from Team Pixel, to pop up at All Star Weekend with a combine to ensure anyone who wanted to make the league had the same tools he did.

From magazine covers, to shooting drills and half time performances, the stage was set to bring fans closer to the game they love with Pixel.
