Gorillaz

To celebrate 20 years of Plastic Beach, Fortnite wanted to bring the Gorillaz into their world and make a splash doing it.

Robot transformed an East London art exhibit into House of Kong, a month-long hybrid of music, gaming, and design. Over three weeks, a shipping container evolved into an immersive pop-up where fans previewed new characters, streamers showcased in-game skins, and DJs spun Gorillaz-inspired sets. A love letter to chaos, creativity, and the culture of crossover.

Then, in Lars Ulrich’s hometown of Copenhagen, we hosted a livestreamed Battle Stage Royale where top streamers went riff-for-riff in a first-of-its-kind Fortnite Festival showdown - premiering the game to the world for the first time across 20 creator channels.
It was time Druski put his money where his mouth was, declaring his eligibility for the draft with a hoops tape and content series that truly put him through the ringer as a recruit.
And to top it all off, Druski shared his knowledge of the game, with a helping hand from Team Pixel, to pop up at All Star Weekend with a combine to ensure anyone who wanted to make the league had the same tools he did.

From magazine covers, to shooting drills and half time performances, the stage was set to bring fans closer to the game they love with Pixel.
