On August 24th, NBC aired the 100th episode of the high-stakes and heartfelt gaming competition series, The Wall. This is a milestone rarely achieved in modern day television and one that should be celebrated. The series premiered on December 19, 2016.
The Fulwell connection
A collaboration between Fulwell’s SpringHill Studios and Glassman Media, the show is hosted by Chris Hardwick, who also serves as executive producer along with LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Andrew Glassman.
The Wall continues to change lives through its cash prizes, having given away over $35 million to date.
In a recent Inc. magazine feature interview, Andrew Glassman, showrunner and executive producer, said this of the show’s origin:
“The partnership illustrates another entrepreneurial lesson: the strongest relationships often happen when people see the same opportunity from different perspectives. Glassman saw a television format. James and SpringHill saw a way to combine entertainment with opportunity and community. Together, they helped turn the concept into a global franchise.”
